Originating from the Sendai High School Theater Club, Taku Suzuki and Tadasuke Haranishi lead their own troupe into what will be their eighth production. With only six members, staff are often lent from the wider artistic community in Sendai in their joint effort to create entertaining theater. Futtou (Boiling) unfolds around an ordinary family dinner. A world that seems to have been mostly free of pressure, the daughter is suffering a temperature and is preoccupied with a protruding belly button. Enter the devil. The truth of our spiraling memory is based on ideas of myth from India and Buddhism, that we had never imagined. Where did we start and where will we end?
